Abstract:The hydrological characteristics are the basis for the management,,development and protection. The characteristics ofhydrology have not only the special laws of origin, but aso are affected by human activities and eclimate change.Based on thequantitative and qualitative analysis of the effects of human activities on the main hydrological factos in the Pearl River Basin, efects of human activities on the runof, magnitude of the flood, stage discharge relation and sediment in the Pearl River Basin arestudied.Furthermore, the flood using several different methods and the stage dscharge relation in different generation and workingconditions are deeply studied, and the conclusion of the influence of human activities on the main hydrological factors in the PearlRiver Basin are given.
