With the improvement of living standards and environmental consciousness enhancement, the people have paid more and moreattention to the radioactive indicators in the drinking water. Now, the radioactivity of gross α and β in the drinking water has been listed as one ofthe important monitoring indicators in the national standards of China. This paper described the radioactive sources in water and harm, analyzedthe influence factors on the testing results, and put forward the measures of decreasing errors.
