Abstract:With the rapid development of information technology, the traditional manual flood information reporting means of phone line andweb page can not meet the requirements of hydrological industry information development. On the basis of the development of mobile internet,we improved traditional hydrological information reporting by embedding it into a leading social communication platform WeChat. Because ofusing WeChat’s massive user base, non-hierarchy, flattening and feedback can be realized in information transmission and communication.Meanwhile, the new system has been designed and optimized fully in user experience, private customization, mobility, fault tolerance and realtimefeedback, which ensures zero interruption during information transmission. The system has increased the efficiency and accuracy ofhydrological information reporting and reduced the limit of time and space, so as to make the combination of the Internet and hydrologicalinformation reporting and establish an efficient, safe and personalization sharing system.
