The water-richness zoning of aquifer is the premise of water resources evaluation. The Alashan Jilantai Basin in Inner Mongolia wastaken as the study area, and the influence factors of water-richness were analyzed. Using the powerful information fusion function of GIS software,the hydrogeological parameters were combined with the SNMR results. The AHP was adopted to establish the evaluation system, and theweights of the various factors were obtained by combining the expert experience and the weight formula. A mathematical model of the water-richnessevaluation was established. The distribution law of water -richness in this area was calculated and evaluated. The results show that themethod is reasonable and effective for evaluating the water-richness in the study area. It is an effective way to solve complex multi-source geologicalproblems such as the water-richness zoning. It provides a reference for rational exploitation and utilization of groundwater resources.
