Abstract:The shape of the cross sections of the middle and lower reaches of the Zhangwei River varies greatly, which leads to a complicated problem in the flood forecasting and dispatching. The traditional hydrological methodswere used to rate parameters according to the historical floods. In this paper, by means of hydraulics method and measured section of river channel, EasyRiv1D model was used to simulate river channel flood routing, and better prediction result was obtained. The result shows that high simulation precision in the flood routing of the Zhangwei River can be obtained by using the hydraulic method based on the EasyRiv1D model, so as to provide technical support for the river flood routing in Zhangwei River Basin.
