This paper expounded the causes of the stationary datum change in Tianjin City, analyzed the influence of stationary datum change on absolute datum correction, suggested that find out the duration-by-duration difference of the historical water level data by using the methods of measurement, verification and survey, so as to provide reference for application and correction of water level data for stationary datum.
