This paper introduced the flow test by two lime energy gradient method,its basic principle and calulation formula.Taking the Gaobanhou Station in Hubei as a case,the error analysis of the hydrological cableway observed flow indicaled that theerrors from the flow test by the two line energy gradient method are in the specification allow range.
