As one of the important basic work in construction and development of the national economy and water conservancy，hy-drology is the guarantee of realizing the walter conservancy modernization and operating the most strict water resources managementsystem.Study on hydrological modemization assessment indicator system is practically significant for guiding the hydrologic modernizationconstruction. Based on the research results analysis，this paper elaborated the thought and principle of seting up modernizationassessment indicators，and determined 10 first-class assessment indicators，53 second-class assessment indicators and correspondingaverage weights by using Delphi Method，so as to construct the hydrological modernization assessment indicator system.
