The surface and ground water resources in the Luanhe River Basin were analyzed and evaluated based the hydrological data from1956 to 2007. The results show that there are uneven distribution, large interannual change and uneven annual distribution of the water resources in the Luanhe River Basin. Otherwise, three factors to decrease the water resources were analyzed as for the decrease trend of the waterresources.
