This paper introduced the basic information about the Three Gorges Reservoir Area in Chongqing,and analyzed the concerned problems in ecology.Based on the research,it gave out a scientific and reasonable planning for ecological monitoring of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area in Chongqing including the principle of station distribution,station selection,and pattern,object and method of ecological monitoring.
