This paper analyzed the application of the acoustic Doppler current profiler(ADCP) in hydrometry in Zhejiang Province.The tech-nology not only solves the problem of discharge measurements at Qiantang Estuary,but also validates the stability in the applications of plain river network.Meanwhile,it provides the solutions for the hydrometry station,which is not steady between water level and discharge.However,there exists the limitation in some application of the technology of discharge measurement by ADCP.
