This paper made an assessment of the pollution sources and water quality in Mangshi River Basin according to the pollution situation and the concerned data,and then found out the main pollutants and pollution sources,calculated the environmental capacity and reduced pollution,so as offering the scientific basis for protecting and managing water resources,improving water environment,promoting reliability utilization of water resources.
