Hydrological cableway is a kind of traditional hydrolometfic facilities. With the development of urbanization, conventional design and construction technology of hydrological cableway have been unfitted for city construction. This paper gives a new design method of self-weight hydrological cableway, which has filled a gap in hydrological cableway design. The new design will make hydrolometric stations more beautiful and modern, which will have remarkable social and economic benefits.
