Water is one of important strategic resources for the development of economy and society. It is an important guarantee of supporting sustainable and harmonious development of national economy and society with durable use of water resources to reinforce configuration and management, protection and use of water resources. Management and application of hydrology information resources have direct impact on scientific management of water resources. This paper introduces the experiences in both management and application of hydrology information resources in the developed countries, so as to be helpful for capacity building of sharing and services of hydrology information resources of the Yellow River Basin and even the whole country.
