During the disaster prevention for Typhoon "Rananim" in 2004, we did not only use the general weather information, but also increased application of the historical tropic cyclone data, weather radar data and past research reports of typhoons and their rainstorms in past years from typhoon monitoring and warning, so as to provide the proper messages to the disaster prevention headquarters in time and get benefits during typhoon landing.
