Abstract:The result of experiments implies that the reserve function of the aquifers from artificial recharge in Taihang piedmont plain of China is related, not only to the reservoir depth of surface water and the time of water infiltration but also to the accumulative total volume of water which flows into the reservoir under the condition of pond infiltration, well injection and channel infiltration. The infiltration rate increases with the increasing of the reservoir depth of surface water and decreases with its decreasing, while the accumulative amount of infiltrated water increases with the increasing time. The key for underground artificial reserve trough well injection is to select the high permeable formation.
