For the stage-discharge relation influenced by the soar or fall rate of flood, the water tipping of the downstream as well as the artificial hydraulic engineering, a method, which is called adjusting factor-fall exponent method based on computer synthesizing, has been put forward. It could solve the problem of stage-discharge single-valued in hydrometry, and satisfy the request of the Code for Hydrologic Data Compilation. Therefore, the method is of certain value for popularizing in practice.
