Based on the basic concept of risk,such as the definition,the character and the research methods,the state-of-the-art of risk analysis in flood control system is reviewed,including the design of sewer systems and drainage culverts,the flood discharge of levee and riverway,the safety of reservoir and dam,flood and risk management,and decision-making.The prospect study is also inquired as the remarks.
