In recent years,it is getting more and more important for the hydrological data collecting and analysis in the basins of the international rivers of China,along with the developing of economy in the frontier regions and the strengthening of cooperation on utilization and protection of the water resources of the basins between China and neighbor countries.The Bureau of Hydrology,Ministry of Water Resources,has made a network plan and construction program of hydrological stations in the regions of the international rivers.The paper brief introduces the aspects about the consideration,goals,principles and methods of the plan.
