Using numerical solution for inverse problem in partial differential equation, based on a method for initializing groundwater table and recharge estimation on two pumping tests,is presented in this paper.A numerical medel for groundwater table forecast was developed, then.This model was successfully applied to forecast groundwater table for Shuishiying area,Dalian.These methods can be applied to solve other relevant problems.
