By spore-pollen analysis and palynological data,the strata can be divided and contrasted,and their geological times can also be determined,so as to reconstruct their paleovegetations and paleosurroundings. This provides scientific basis for exploration of groundwater resources. In accordance with the above data and coordination of hydrogeology prospecting,regular movement patterns of groundwater in given locality can be made,and a conception of exploration of groundwater resources will be worked out.
