The method of dynamic control of limit level before flood was used in the Biliuhe Reservoir from 2005 to 2008,during which flood control was made by using the short-term rainfall forecasting data from the meteorology departments,and regulation of real time floods by using the dynamic regulation method of pre-storage and pre-discharge.The results show that the reservoir storage can be increased by using the method without increasing the reservoir operation risk.
