Human activates aggravated the variation of hydrological system.This paper put forward a probability statistics method for measuring the hydrological variation,and two indices based on the concept of correlation integral were defined to measure this variation,i.e.variation degree and variation ratio.The method was proved effected in analyzing the runoff series of the Beijiang River Basin and the writer made some preliminary conclusions from this analysis.
