Construction of railway bridges has a great influence on security of levee,flow stability,security of water transferring, navigation,and canal management.According to the Flood Control Law of the People's Republic of China,Regulations of the People's Republic of China Concerning Watercourse Administration,Stipulations Concerning Construction Project Management in Criterion of Water Course Administration and other laws or regulations,construction projects in canal range should be evaluated in flood control.This paper introduced the information about the Heifei-Wuhan railway bridge across the Pihe Canal,analyzed and evaluated the concerned influence on the water transferring.The results show that railway construction has a bad influence on the capability of water transferring.Therefore,it is suggested that corresponding compensation scheme should be adopted.
