This paper put forward the necessity of constructing hydrological data warehouse according to the requirement from appli- cation of hydrological information at present.Otherwise,this paper also introduced the data warehouse and the concerned technolo- gy,and suggested the data organization,basic system structure and development steps of constructing the hydrological data ware- house in light of the actual conditions and application of hydrological data.
