This paper introduced application of the material-units analyzing method in comprehensive evaluation of water resources carrying capacity.With various areas of the Huaihe River Basin as the studied objects,it made a comparison of the evaluated results between this method and others.It showed this method could analyze the influence degree of each attribute,so that it has an application value with its simple and convenient calculation.
