In this paper,the major affecting factors of evaporation from water surfaces were analyzed and a evaporation model from water surface based on the physical process of evaporation was proposed. The parameters in the model were calibrated using experimental data of 19 evaporation stations all over the country including the data of Bayangaole evaporation station.The results of the model showed that higher precision was given comparing with other 6 models.
