The GIS technique employed to develop an information management system for the national hydrologic stations network is introduced in this paper. It provides a fast and full information support to optimize the stations network and to improve its management. It has the capacity for referring to and roaming about the information from maps,words,sounds to videos, and outputs charts and tables.
